The Diversity and Inclusion committees acknowledges the cultural and socioeconomic differences of our staff and patient population. Lead by Dr. Grace Berry and Dr. Ethan Molitch-Hou the committee encourages programs and initiatives and highlights areas for opportunity and growth via community outreach efforts and lecture series. Our goal is to foster open communication related to progress toward creating an enterprise-wide culture that centers diversity and inclusion and actively fosters equity in health care delivery. The committee collaborates closely with the research, hiring, quality initiative, and medical education committees Taking part will be groups from across the Biological Sciences and UChicago Medicine.
